Quality Management
OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
… accompanies every grain – from its origin to you.
For us quality management starts right in the field at origin and completes its purpose only after the goods have reached our customers – and meets their expectations.
Systemised certified quality
We set ourselves the highest quality standards and make compliance with them measurable. Our quality management system has been certified according to the IFS Broker Standard since 2017.
The IFS (International Featured Standard) is a globally recognised food safety standard. It is GFSI recognized and has classified accreditable by both DAkkS and EA.
The IFS audit focuses on the effectiveness of internal company structures in ensuring compliance with legal and customer-specific food quality requirements. Since our initial certification, we have consistently achieved results at the highest level, as evidenced by the rating "Higher Level".

OUR MEASURES FOR TOP QUALITY –
IN ALL THREE DIMENSIONS
1.
Experience –
sensory quality begins at origin
sensory quality begins at origin
The quality of pepper is a direct result of the conditions under which it is cultivated. Therefore, we work exclusively with suppliers that have passed our rigorous approval process and have demonstrated a high level of know-how. As part of our certified supplier approval process, we conduct on-site audits and carefully assess the details of who produces what, where and under which conditions.
Our long-standing partnerships with producers allow us to maintain high quality standards consistently over time. In addition, each batch is subjected to an internal sensory test, during which the smell, taste and texture are personally evaluated before the product is released.
2.
Food Safety –
analysed, verified, released
analysed, verified, released
Ensuring food safety is the foundation of our QM system. Our in-house Quality Management team is thoroughly familiar with the relevant legal framework and analyses both product-related and process-related risks along the entire supply chain.
From this, we derive preventive control measures that help to identify risks early on and reduce them permanently. Furthermore, each batch is subject to the principle of positive release. Each incoming batch is meticulously checked in a three-stage control process:
- We inspect every single batch upon arrival at our warehouse
- We effect in-house testing of a representative lot sample to assess the sensory properties
- We effect microbiological and chemical testing of a representative lot sample with a certified third-party lab analysis
Only after compliance in each of the three steps has been confirmed goods are released for delivery.
3.
Customer Specifications –
precisely to your needs
precisely to your needs
Our customers have specific requirements for their products, and we are committed to meeting these needs with precision. Our in-depth product knowledge and detailed understanding of our supply partners enable us to provide precisely tailored batches.
As a precautionary measure, we conduct preventive measures to avoid potential issues before they arise. In this instance, the products are only released after undergoing rigorous laboratory testing to ensure quality control. The company's commitment to safety and reliability is reflected in its approach of implementing a positive release policy and collaborating with certified external institutes.
